ISSUE 001 — THE CORE

At the centre of everything, there’s a core. Sometimes it’s steady, sometimes it rots, sometimes it’s hard to even find. For our first issue, we want to know what sits at yours.

What to write about:

Your own core; what makes you tick, what you return to.

Society at its core; what happens beneath the surface.

Pop culture and the strange, sticky centres we all share.

Looking inward; recollection, introspection, memory.

Finding light (within or otherwise).

The people at your core; tell us about them.

The aftermath of winter.

We’re looking for work that is introspective, curious, and honest. Essays, short stories, poems, criticism, and hybrid pieces are all welcome. Surprise us.
